SOBRE EPHEMERA

EPHEMERA tem como objectivo divulgar materiais da biblioteca e arquivo pessoais de José Pacheco Pereira, em particular dos diferentes espólios, doações, ofertas e aquisições que deles fazem parte. Na medida do possível, do tempo e das circunstâncias, todos estes materiais estão acessíveis aos investigadores que deles necessitem para o seu estudo e trabalho, nos condicionalismos normais de uma biblioteca e arquivos privados. Dada a dimensão e qualidade de alguns dos materiais, em particular as espécies únicas e as colecções especializadas inexistentes em bibliotecas e arquivos públicos, o meu objectivo, a prazo, é tornar disponível a todos este acervo.

___________________ EPHEMERA aims to promote books, newspapers, ephemera and archive materials belonging to the personal library of José Pacheco Pereira, probably the largest private library – archive in Portugal. To the extent that is possible, all these materials are accessible to researchers for study within the normal constraints of a private library. Given the unique nature of some materials, my goal is to make the collection available online.
